House Number Plate FAQ
Everything you need to know about our hand-engraved house number plates.
What is a House Number Plate?
A house number plate is a variant of our wall planter. Your chosen number is hand engraved directly onto the ceramic plate, making it both functional and decorative.
How is the number engraved?
Each number is carefully hand engraved by the artist before the piece is fired. The engraving becomes a permanent part of the ceramic.
Will the design look exactly like the photos?
Every piece is handmade, so slight variations in letter depth, spacing, and glaze are natural. The overall design aesthetic is always kept in mind to ensure a beautiful result.
What numbers or characters can I use?
Keep your house number short and simple — numbers, a single letter suffix (e.g. 42A), or a short combination work best. Very long strings may not fit the plate.
Can I change my house number after ordering?
Please contact the studio as soon as possible if you need to update your number. Once engraving has begun, changes may not be possible.
How long does it take to ship?
House number plates are made to order. Please allow 4–8 weeks for your piece to be engraved, finished, and dispatched.
How is it packed and shipped?
We pack each plate with protective materials and ship through our delivery partner. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location.
