What to expect when you order a piece crafted especially for you.
What does Made to Order mean?
Made to order pieces are crafted specifically for you after you place your order. They are not sitting on a shelf ready to leave the studio — each one is formed, finished, and fired as part of a careful handmade process.
How long does it take to ship?
Please allow 4–8 weeks for your made to order piece to be packed and dispatched. Timelines can vary slightly depending on the piece and studio schedule.
How is that different from Ready to Ship?
Ready to ship items are already finished and in stock. They are typically packed and dispatched within one week of purchase. Made to order items need time to create before they can ship.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Every ceramic piece is handmade, so small variations in shape, glaze, and texture are part of what makes it unique. Your piece will be true to the design you ordered, with the natural character of handcrafted work.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel a made to order purchase, please contact the studio as soon as possible. Once production has begun, changes may not be possible. For returns and refunds after delivery, please see our Return & Refund Policy.
How is my order packed and shipped?
Once your piece is ready, we pack it carefully with protective materials and ship it through our delivery partner. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location.
