After Rain Vessel

A sculptural vessel that feels like a carved fragment of another landscape — raw, weathered, and quietly dramatic in a space. The outer form stays mostly unglazed, keeping the earthy clay body exposed, while the carved openings hold deep movement in mossy blue, cream, and dark mineral glaze, almost like water passing through rock. The copper-toned top adds warmth and contrast, giving the piece depth and making it feel especially rich from every angle. It works beautifully as a sculptural vase for a single stem or cutting, but holds just as much presence on its own as an object. This is a piece for those drawn to forms that feel discovered rather than perfected — strange, handmade, and deeply alive. Note: This piece was made through an experimental technique that caused small cracks and slight unevenness at the base. These do not take away from its sculptural strength, but are part of its handmade character and are meant to be embraced as such.
