Bali Planter

A living landscape shaped around water, where plants, soil and the earth toned base all become part of one piece. The darker body feels like wet ground, while the lighter rims catch the light like raised edges of terrain. Once the plants begin spilling over them, the whole form feels less arranged and more naturally grown. The blue glaze inside the pool changes completely with water. It becomes deeper, brighter and almost reflective against the brown clay and surrounding green. I would keep this somewhere I naturally spend time. On a low table, beside a reading chair, or in a corner that needs more life than just another object. It gives you something to look into, not just look at. Each Bali Planter will follow this same flowing layout and central water feature, but the way the terrain rises and every smaller detail will be unique to the piece, giving it that natural, almost found feeling. As the plants settle in and the water catches the room around it, the whole piece begins to feel like a small piece of earth living with you indoors.
