Bali Planter II

A three layered landscape where planting pockets rise around a mossy green water basin. The darker band running through the centre gives the piece its depth, almost like a strip of exposed terrain separating one level from the next. The glaze shifts between wet earth, charcoal and muted green, so every layer feels slightly different. This one would look best with lower plants and creepers that can soften the edges and spill between the levels. As they grow, the structure starts disappearing and the whole piece begins to feel found rather than arranged. The water basin sits quietly at the lowest level, giving your eyes somewhere to pause before moving back through the planting above. This is the only Bali Planter in this exact form.
