Stillwater Watering Pot

A sculptural watering pot, handbuilt to feel grounding, quiet, and softly weighty in the hand. Its rounded form sits beautifully in a space, with a calm, almost figure-like presence that makes it feel as much like an object to live with as one to use. Fully functional, water pours through the perforated base in a soft flow, making plant care feel slower, more intentional, and quietly ritualistic. The glaze is highly irreproducible, layered from multiple glazes used that day, with soft blue, cream, deep mineral tones, and earthy breaks moving across the surface like fluid stone. Natural glaze drips add to that feeling of flow, making it especially rich to look at up close and quietly striking on a shelf, near a window, or beside plants. Note: Functional as a watering pot and decorative as an object. Not intended for food use. How to use: Dip the pot into a vessel of water to fill it, then cover the top opening with your thumb to create suction. Move it above the plant and release your thumb to let the water shower gently from below, almost like bringing rain indoors.
