Rosette Bowl

A wide, dinnerware safe bowl made for pasta, noodles, salads, grain bowls or serving straight to the table. The inside is what makes this one special. The pink, plum and earthy glaze came out of the kiln looking almost like a flower opening from the centre. None of it was drawn in. The glaze simply moved this way in the firing, giving the whole bowl this beautiful rosette like impression that gets even better up close. The outside stays darker and quieter, letting that unexpected bloom inside have its moment. And I love that you only really get the full view once you’re nearing the end of your meal.
