The Earth Bowl

This one almost feels like looking at the earth in layers. The glaze moves through mossy green, warm brown, deeper black and little bronze tones, almost like soil and mineral bands sitting over each other. Inside, the colour gets softer and more open, with tiny dark speckles scattered through it like little geographic markings. It is a really easy medium serving bowl for snacks, sides, fruit or desserts. The more you look at it up close, the more it starts to feel like a tiny landscape, with different layers and markings revealing themselves across the surface.
